For Park District in downtown Dallas, Brad Oldham and Christy Coltrin rotated a conventional water-wall concept to capture and accentuate the surrounding environment while encouraging interaction with the viewer. Twist was meticulously handcrafted by hammering the stainless steel into shape and then hand sanding and polishing the sculpture to a highly reflective finish. The sculpture stands on a custom water feature of Fuerstenstein granite from the Bavarian region of Germany. For the artists, this sculpture is an invitation to seek opportunities that might be around the bend.
