Bio: Brad Oldham – Co-Owner
Brad Oldham is a sculptor with the mind of an engineer who enjoys creating artistic, useful pieces. Oldham established his stand-alone company in 1998 to design and produce sculpture, architectural features, lighting, hardware and custom products for commercial and public projects. The company, known today as Brad Oldham International, Inc., builds upon Oldham’s highly regarded tenure with the country’s top interior design firms, well-known real estate owners and discriminating private art collectors.

As President, Oldham is responsible for providing leadership for the company as well as for achieving operating and financial objectives, overseeing the quality of products, improving ongoing financial growth and responding to industry needs. Oldham implements strategies to improve overall operating income (i.e., on-time delivery, inventory reduction, process efficiencies, and reduced cost while maintaining quality) and grows the value of the overall company. He also is responsible for attracting world-class talent and manufacturing partners to the company. He focuses on continuous improvement and lean manufacturing processes and has a strong background in operations.

While setting the creative direction and overseeing the execution of all work in the company, Oldham is the primary business-development engine for the company and oversees the estimating and bid proposal process. Clients are drawn to Oldham’s routinely pushing the boundaries of what’s been done and what can be accomplished in creating custom products and sculpture. It is through his experimentation and understanding of how things are made that the company has garnered national media coverage, been included in educational programs and has several copyrights and trademarks in progress. He is more than an operational and tactical leader of the company; he keeps the company powerful through its flexibility, speed, efficiency and creativity, and inspires his team to do their best work through a lead-by-example approach to his work.

Oldham’s artwork and products have been featured on Good Morning America and in Architectural Digest, Better Homes & Gardens, Veranda, House & Garden, The Dallas Morning News, and other national and local publications. In 2003, Oldham was honored with The Craft Award from Preservation Dallas for his dedication to preserving Dallas landmarks. Three years later, he was proud to receive The Rising Star Award in Homes and Interiors from Fashion Group International. In 2008, Coca-Cola named Oldham its arts role model for his work with high school students in the Boys & Girls Club. In 2009, Oldham introduced “The Traveling Man,” $1.4 million sculptural series, which has been dubbed by the media as a new “hallmark” for the city and as “Dallas’ new photographic ambassador.”

Oldham earned a BS from Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth. In 1990, he joined the family apparel business, and in 1998, he launched his own company, leveraging the skills he acquired in the fashion industry to start Brad Oldham International, Inc.
Oldham brings a background of education, craftsmanship, diverse culture and creativity to his endeavors.  Proud of his accomplishments and upbringing, he is the rare individual who today is doing professionally what he’s always dreamed of. The only thing that generates more passion than his work is his family; Oldham is married with three children, whose individual creative pursuits he much enjoys fostering.
